I'll start. I am Tom Oliver from Nottingham in the UK. I am a third year Multimedia degree student. Last year, I was conducting research into how social networking and internet interaction could affect the way in which film is created, and how recently we have seen a shift from mastery and authorship towards social participation within art. This lead me to this project, researching the feasibility of creating a film using primarily internet technology during production and allowing an online community to create the film with me giving only a rough story idea as a catalyst. I have been making films for a few years now, and you can check out my online portfolio here.

This project is very much experimental, but I do hope to have a finished film at the end of it. In fact, I hope that we have a series of different films that have been remixed and re-edited by people within our online community. That's the goal, and I hope we have fun creating it.

Hi there, my name is Ali and i'm also a final year MM student based in Nottingham. I am hoping to move into a career involving camera operations within television and film. I believe that this is a very interesting idea with a lot of promise and i'm looking forward to working with possibly an infinite amount of people and ideas.
